CACAF engages new Grant Compliance Professional


Ms. Patrice Davis hails from the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica. She is the owner of Grants Works, a grant consulting firm, and served as the Senior Director, Federal Grants Programs and Compliance for Boys & Girls Clubs of America headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Her role included managing all pre-award activity and post-award compliance and reporting for over $52 million dollars in federal grants each year. 

She became adept at managing the complexities of government grants in various professional roles at large and small nonprofit organizations, academia, and as a federal employee. She has successfully managed primary and subawards from foundations, corporations and 13 local, state and federal agencies and subagencies that funded a wide variety of initiatives including youth mentoring programs, global health projects, university research, and permanent supportive housing. 

She is a member of Atlanta Black Chambers, Grant Professionals Association, Georgia Grant Professionals Association, and Government Contractors Association.

Grants Works core services include grant research, regulatory assessments, fiscal compliance, offsite grant management, grant management training, customized compliance roadmaps and subrecipient monitoring plans and site visit readiness support.
